You can say and do any ugly and hurtful thing you want — as long as you are willing to accept the blow-back. If it’s inappropriate and someone calls you on it, you can have whatever reaction you wish within the law. <shrug>

That said, when the twitter horde got upset when the non-Asian girl wore a traditional Chinese dress to her prom, she had the exactly right reaction. She ignored them.

We human beings do well when we live in social groups and we do best when we get along and are kind to each other. If that’s fascistic, then I’ll take two.
