Unless the Supreme Court changes its mind, guns can never be banned or made illegal.

There really isn’t a good argument to make them illegal.

None of my gun regulation ideas suggest that they should be made illegal. Quite the contrary.

Liability insurance, licenses, registration, extra taxes, strict storage requirements. All those things are just to require that gun owners take some responsibility for their weapons.

“It’s the guns, stupid.” Is a reference to Bill Clinton’s slogan “It’s the economy, stupid.” The problem isn’t crazy people, the problem isn’t criminals. It’s the guns.

Unless the Supreme Court changes its mind, guns can never be banned or made illegal. The NRA equates any gun regulation with banning. It’s a marketing ploy with all the truthfulness and sincerity of “Taste the Rainbow.”
