If Democrats actually believed in bodily autonomy they wouldn’t support compulsory education and most of the public health laws we have in this country.

Education isn’t compulsory. Google “home schooling.” Public health laws? Making sure your water doesn’t have poop in it is not exactly the same thing as “you go get yourself killed on my behalf.”

And yet only 52% of Democrats want Medicare-for-all.

You probably noticed that 52% is “most.” Democrats disagree as to HOW to implement universal health care. I’d like the British system because it’s the cheapest and the most comprehensive. I’d settle for the Swiss system which is more like what we have in the US. I’d be fine with opening up Medicaid so the public can purchase individual policies. I’m agnostic on HOW we get there.

But nearly ALL Democrats want to get there. As opposed to most Republicans who couldn’t possibly care less.
