There are around 300 million guns currently in the hands of Americans. The Supreme Court, whether we like or not, affirmed individuals’ constitutional right to bear arms. A culture of firearm ownership is deeply embedded in much, perhaps most, of the land.

And yet the Supreme Court has said that guns may be regulated. Nobody is seriously pushing for confiscation because the people who don’t like guns keep up with Supreme Court rulings.

Therefore what the left pushes for is gun regulation. I detail them here:
